JDionne & Associates provides
"Indigenous-based"
Counselling and Healing Courses
Counselling
As Indigenous counsellors, we honour Indigenous knowledge, experience, and healing in a safe and caring environment. We use Indigenous perspectives to treat mental health and life issues and understand and respect every Indigenous person and family's socioeconomic challenges. We start where you are at.
"Recovery is the Foundation of our Success"
Healing Courses
JDionne & Associates offer courses based on the knowledge and practices of ancestry and wisdom. Our healing methods are based on the history of colonization of indigenous peoples in Canada, complex trauma theory, and testimonies of resiliency. Our courses are designed to help individuals heal from the effects of colonization and learn about their ancestors' practices and wisdom.
Groups & Events
JDionne & Associates Group counselling is a type of psychotherapy that involves meeting with a group of individuals who all face similar concerns. Group sessions include sharing your experiences and listening to others' experiences. Group counselling is an effective way to heal from your experiences and learn from others. We are happy to present our healing courses at your event.

Did you know?
According to evidence, first Nations People experience a disproportionate degree of mental health care compared to most Canadians. This is likely due to the fact that western-based mental health services are not accessible to many within this population.
JDionne & Associates offers an Indigenous-based healing approach which fills this gap. This approach is based on the belief that mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health are all interconnected. By focusing on all aspects of health, the team at JDionne & Associates is able to provide more holistic care.

Client’s Testimonials
Knowing Jackson, his body of work for the indigenous communities and his vision for a just society has been an absolute honour for me. Would strongly recommend Jackson and IWTS for their ongoing work among the marginalized communities of Canada. The world we live in needs Jackson’s healing voice and touch.

Hi my name is Yvon Pepion I would like to share a brief Testimonial about my personal pursuit to Healing from a lifetime of substance abuse. And a strong circle of support which I learned is very important in
Recovery one of the few Native supports that has been there through the trials and tribulations is the Indigenous Wellness Training Society.
The Indigenous Wellness Training Society provides a safe environment and is very patient with the understanding that healing takes time which allows an Individual to process for themselves that they truly care and for me that's what's needed after a Lifetime of survival I had to overcome that old way of dealing with my Trauma.
The support from IWTS helps me stand on a firm foundation with the opportunity of community work which includes assisting with Bible studies, landscaping, and moving. I was able to integrate back into society in a healthy way. They also encouraged me that I have my own gifts and talents as well as introducing new ones. The one I liked the most is going on camera online and sharing my story and encouraging others to make that choice for their healing.

Jackson and the IWTS team are creating important pathways to work through trauma through self-empowerment. They turn vision into practice.
