Whoops, I did it again!I told myself a million times I’d never keep drinking. I always told myself that "I should" quit drinking. After every weekend, I would go to work and say, "I should" quit drinking. &nbsp;I said, "I should," many, many times. Then, when I hit "my" bottom, I stopped saying "I should" and said, "I will" stop drinking.It shows you that relapse is part of change. If I do not maintain the actions that got me into recovery, I will relapse. This is the reason we take an "active" stance towards recovery. We actively sought our addictions no matter where we lived, our circumstances, and how many people we used. We had to avoid drinking or using drugs at all costs.Today, I find that for every reason there is to relapse, there is more than an equal reason not to. I bet anyone there are at least ten reasons not to drink alcohol excessively or use drugs.What’s your oops, I did it again" story?
