Take heart from the experience of others who made the transition from active addiction into "Active" Recovery.When I moved away from our home of 18 years, when we moved away from the community we stayed in for 21 years, when it felt like everyone I ever helped had abandoned me, I could have easily given up. I felt like giving up on many occasions. I have felt completely alone and abandoned, but I kept my faith. My faith in the Creator grew stronger and stronger. I am forever grateful for this happening. I truly believe it is because of this faith that I have the blessings that I have. I want to leave behind the story of how I accomplished my goals so future generations can learn from my journey, and my testimony.
