So, allow me to reintroduce myself:My name is Jackson, and my Mission is to train First Nations Individuals with addiction issues using Indigenous health and wellness principles to achieve financial independence while providing ‘land stewardship’ services to the Government and the community.As much as "Active" Recovery from substance use is my passion, it’s not what I do 24/7. In my spare time, you’ll find me:Attending and supporting Church Activities. I am talking about an actual physical Christian Church. I know the majority of Indigenous people attend ceremonies like the Sweatlodge and consider this ceremony their church, but I gravitate toward Christianity. I know the history our people have had with the church, but I do not believe in those principles, and I believe early Christians sent the wrong message.Supporting various Indigenous Events through photography or videography, I enjoy documenting Indigenous lives and historical events. I also enjoy starting various events, or at least being part of them.Shopping or going to the movies. I usually go window shopping quite a bit, or at least go shopping with my wife. She likes finding good deals, whereas if I need a part, I usually get it from the most convenient location, even if it means paying a bit more. I also enjoy going to movies because I like the stories and sometimes find inspiration there. When I find a movie I like, I have to watch it like 20 times, or at least until I learn the lesson or decipher the moral of the story.Tell me about you in the comments below, and let’s connect.
