In the spirit of our ancestors, whose wisdom and paths guide us, I journeyed through the sacred process of healing, embracing the teachings of an elder in the form of an active sponsor. This guide, wise and truthful, led me through our traditional steps of recovery, allowing me to face and mend the remnants of past storms that once clouded my path.My path was illuminated by two pivotal investments in my healing journey. The first was seeking the guidance of an elder who could walk with me, step by step, through our rites of healing. The second was committing wholeheartedly to the actions required by these steps, an active engagement in rituals that allowed me to cleanse the shadows of my past.These investments were like the two wings of an eagle, lifting me to a milestone of clarity and peace that I once thought was unreachable. Without these twin guides, I would not stand where I do today, on a path cleared of the debris of my past, gazing forward with clear eyes and a strong heart.What is the greatest investment you have made in your journey or your calling?
