I followed a more "accepted" path and put my passion on the back burner. Even as I was making a living, my dream kept calling to me, so I started pursuing it on the side.Then a strange thing happened... Every time I felt good about following my dream, I'd create imaginary roadblocks. I thought I needed to learn more, do more, or be better to deserve the joy it brought me. I made it nearly impossible to reach, believing it—or I—wasn't enough.I've since learned that simplicity is more than "good enough." It's the key to joy and happiness in business and life. Be thankful for simple pleasures, simple goals, and simple steps. When things get complicated, it's usually a sign that something’s off.
