My Quarterly Goals…Why do I set them?&nbsp; Why do I share them here?Setting goals helps me stay focused.&nbsp; Sharing my goals holds me accountable.&nbsp; Plus, I hope that they inspire you to set goals as well.&nbsp; Everything I have in recovery is because I set goals.&nbsp; This is nothing new; when I graduated high school, my first goal was to stay intoxicated for a week.&nbsp; Somehow, I succeeded, and now my goals are much, much different.Here's what I plan to accomplish this quarter:<ol><li>Finish and publish the online "Introduction to Recovery" Course.&nbsp; This course provides comprehensive support and guidance for individuals seeking to overcome addiction.&nbsp; In this course, offered by JDionne &amp; Associates, we will explore various aspects of addiction, recovery, and self-care to help you on your healing journey.&nbsp; We aim to create a safe and respectful learning environment for all participants through interactive activities and discussions.</li><li>​Create a recovery program for up to ten peer volunteers and lead them through group counselling and one-on-one substance use disorder counselling.&nbsp; This will ensure the peer volunteers are better equipped to cope with various emotional triggers while voluntarily helping other organizations.</li><li>​Launch a series of podcasts featuring Indigenous elders, knowledge keepers, and cultural experts from across the country.&nbsp; These podcasts will share rich narratives, wisdom, and experiences from various Indigenous cultures.</li></ol>I like to keep my goal list small because it helps me focus.&nbsp; Plus, having fewer goals means I'm less likely to procrastinate.&nbsp; I can break everything down into doable steps.I would like to interview a few people who read these blogs.&nbsp; Please e-mail us at info@iwtscanada.org.I am developing a project plan for each endeavour we are developing.&nbsp; I would also like to start creating or developing a list of potential individuals who would like to be part of the ten peer volunteers.&nbsp; If you know of anyone, please have them contact us or DM us below.What are your goals in "Active" Recovery for this quarter?&nbsp; Share in the comments, and we'll support you!&nbsp;Attribute Sections:Image by &lt;a href="<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.freepik.com/free-vector/flat-background-international-day-world-s-indigenous-peoples_29406432.htm#page=2&amp;amp;query=indigenous%20canada&amp;position=23&amp;from_view=search&amp;track=ais&quot;>Freepik</a>">https://www.freepik.com/free-vector/flat-background-international-day-world-s-indigenous-peoples_29406432.htm#page=2&amp;amp;query=indigenous%20canada&amp;position=23&amp;from_view=search&amp;track=ais"&gt;Freepik&lt;/a&gt;</a>
