Can anyone relate to struggling to stay focused and get things done?I’m no stranger to working from home. I have felt like I’ve been alone my whole life. I grew up as an only child. I spent many hours completely alone.And I love being able to walk Teddy in my work PJs in between fulfilling contractual obligations and meditating.But I have to admit, these days, it's hard to focus. The minute I start a project, I’m itching to look at my email, scroll through social media, or get a glass of water (or vodka, lol). Well, I have not relapsed in over 26 years. But I always know relapse is a solution, and for everyone who has a reason to relapse, I have found there are at least ten reasons not to. As long as I stay away from the first drink, I will be okay. This is a principle I learned early on in my recovery and one that I remind myself of every day.I'm reminding myself that productivity ebbs and flows and that there’s a lot going on in the world right now. I learned that life is a series of ups and downs. I cannot always feel upward unless I am manic, so when I feel down, I remind myself that this is just a low-energy day. This too shall pass. Even if the issue persists for a year or more, or even up to a decade, keep your faith that you will get through the blessings the Creator has offered to you.Not to mention…the attacks from the Trickster. He is always there. Just as addiction is cunning, baffling, and powerful, so are the attacks from the Trickster or enemy. Be vigilant. &nbsp;Stay focused on the purpose the Creator has put you on this earth to fulfill. Remember, you may not be anything to the world, but you could possibly be the world to one person.I’m usually good at getting things done, so I hope this passes quickly.Share your favorite productivity tips in the comments!
